Item - Vintage Advertising Wooden Coat Hanger complete with original celluloid plaque printed with the details - ALKIT CAMBRIDGE CIRCUS W.C.2. PHONE TEMPLE BAR 1814 (7 LINES) AND THROUGHOUT THE PROVINCES. Alkit was a menswear shop owned by the Father of Jon Moss an English drummer, best known as a member of the 1980s pop group Culture Club. He has also played with other bands, including London, The Nips, The Damned and Adam & The Ants.
