By 1966, the Company, now named Turner Industries Ltd, employed 1100 people and was producing Tools of all descriptions including screwdrivers, carpenters planes, hacksaw frames, etc...after obtaining the patterns for Pope & Falcon products (Australian versions of the popular Stanley Tools), Turner used his knowledge of the use of 'Red Cellulose Acetate' from his door/cupboard handle range to redesign the planes to included a unbreakable handle matching other items from his tool range. Turner Industries continued to manufacture Tools & Household items including Washing Machines, Lawn Mowers & Clothes Driers until 1970.
