Item - Vintage Ianthe Smokers Stand Floor Standing Ashtray, Circa 1960s; the chrome plated and wood effect ashtray features 2 cigarette rests

Stamps - Cast to the base with MADE IN IANTHE ENGLAND COVERED BY ONE OR MORE OF PATENT NO. 962982 PAT. APP. FOR REG. DES. NO. 918880, the inside of the bowl is also cast with MADE IN IANTHE ENGLAND COVERED BY ONE OR MORE OF PATENT NOS. 962982 962983 1015720 REG. DES. NOS. 897588 903597 918880 924485 OTHERS APPLIED FOR...the lift up top is also cast with PAT PDG....for Patent Pending making this Floor Standing Ashtray an early example. The Patents and Registration Designs all date from the period 1965 to 1967.
