Other Stamps/Marks - Stamped with the touch marks of James Smellie to the inside of the base; stamped with 1/6 GILL, Locality Stamp and Date Stamp to the left of the handle

Construction -  Pewter

Country of Origin - England

Dimensions - 1.625" in height

Weight - 84 gram

Condition - Excellent Used Condition (please see all photos) 

Other Interesting Points - Cornelius Chambers started Gaskell & Chambers in 1892; he then acquired the James Yates firm in 1902. The "Y" mark within a triangle is believed to be used on pieces made from the old James Yates moulds. Their pewter business was sold to James Smellie Limited in the early 1970's, who unfortunately closed down in 1983.
