Item  - Vintage 4lb Cast Iron Nesting Weight, make unusual paperweight or nice addition to collection. The weight has a lead insert which is stamped with a verification stamp.  

Maker - Unknown though the weight is stamped to the underside with the letter G

Locality Stamp - 131 for the Lincoln County

Date Stamp - There is a '80' stamp which is most likely referencing to the date 1980, though the weight looks a bit older so probably only went into use then!.

Cypher Stamp - Elizabeth II

Other Stamps - Cast to the top with 4lb.

Construction - Cast Iron

Country of Origin - England

Dimensions - 4.375" in diameter (1.375" in height)

Weight - 1819 gram

Condition - Excellent Used Condition and a lovely patination.  

Other Interesting Points - This is a rather nice cast iron bar weight that would make an interesting addition to a collection or even a paperweight for the desk!
