Item - HTF Antique Jahncke's Patent Mitrailleuse 'The Lighthouse' Needle Tin Case produced by Ernest Jancke's of Canonbury Works, London, England for Morris & Yeomans Limited of Astwood Bank, Redditch, England, Circa 1890-1900.
The metal case is finished in a marbleised green colour and printed with the following details - THE LIGHTHOUSE NEEDLE CASE MORRIS & YEOMANS LTD ASTWOOD BANK REDDITCH MADE IN ENGLAND, and also Instructions for use and numbers around the turning edge for the size of the needle to come out 8,9,10,11,12. The steel end caps are marked JAHNCKE'S PATENT MITRAILLEUSE (refers to the resemblance to the long barreled military volley guns ) NEEDLE CASE on one end and BEST ENGLISH STEEL NEEDLES EGG EYED 100 SHARPS NEEDLES on the other. The case is complete with it's original contents and in full working order.
