Stamps - Stamped to the outside of the blade with PINKING SHEARS CORP. N.Y.C. and then Patent numbers; though these are a little hard to read due to age and use.

Other Interesting Points - Pinking shears have a utilitarian function for cutting woven cloth. Cloth edges that are unfinished will easily fray, the weave becoming undone and threads pulling out easily. The saw tooth pattern does not prevent the fraying but limits the length of the frayed thread and thus minimizes damage. Pinkers can also be used for making gift tags from Old Christmas Cards as shown in the video below -
