Item - Vintage Horticultural/Gardening Folding Pocket Knife with Tapered Body for Grafting made by Saynor, Cooke & Ridal of Sheffield, England, Circa 1945. This particular example is stamped to the body with the provisional patent 12512/45 granted by The British Patents Office in 1945 prior to the full patent being granted (Please See All Pics).

Maker - Saynor, Cooke & Ridal of Sheffield, England 

Marks - The Tang of the Main Blade is stamped with the makers name to one side and then trademark OBTAIN (The companies trademark) and SHEFFIELD ENGLAND..

Circa - 1945

Construction - Steel, Celluloid Body

Country of Origin - England 

Length - 4.75" in length (closed)

Weight - 140 gram

Condition - Very Good Used Condition with the blade opening and closing with a good snap and a very tiny amount of blade wobble (please see all photos)
