Vintage Royal Doulton Pottery Tiny Miniature Sairy Gamp Character Jug D6045, Circa 1970s
This is a fantastic miniature character jug of 'Sairey Gamp' made by Royal Doulton of England, Circa 1960/70s; this is the D6045 miniature version (1.125" high) designed by Laslie Harradine and Harry Fenton; issued from 1939 to 1986. 'Sairy Gamp' was a character from Charles Dickens 1843 novel Martin Chuzzlewit. The Character Jug has the unglazed printed green mark of ROYAL DOULTON ENGLAND.
The Pheasant Figure measures 1.125" in height (1.5" wide - handle to spout( and is in Excellent Used Conditon, with no chips or cracks.
