Item - Vintage Squashed Squires Gin Bottle by Reg Moon, Circa 1969-71; this sculptural piece was the inspiration for Gilbert and George's famous 'Reclining Drunk' Gordons Gin Bottles.  'Reg enjoyed his gin and one day (maybe after one too many) he tried firing an empty gin bottle in the kiln. The result was a rather pleasing "Squashed Bottle". After much experimentation, Squires gin bottles seemed to melt into the most aesthetically pleasing Salvador Dali-like shape, which could be used as an ashtray.'
