Item - HTF Unused As New Vintage Yardley English Lavender Perfumery Series Powder Box complete with original sealed contents, Circa 1930s; the box is printed to the rear with the details - Yardley Lavender perfumery series includes perfume face powder in 5 tints (Natural (Which this is), Rachel, Rose, Suntan & White). Face Cream, Compact Face Powder, Shampoo, Bath Salts, Crystals & Tablets, Compressed, Blossoms, Brilliantine, Talc Powder, Smelling Salts, Cold Cream, Dusting Powder and Toilet Soap... Old English Lavender NATURAL YBO (Ink Stamped) YARDLEY 33, OLD BOND STREET, LONDON,; the inner seal is also stamped with the earlier address 8 New Bond Street, London...so would presume that this item was produced circa 1930/31 at the time of re-location of Yardley, this was furthermore backed up by seeing this particular item in a advert of the same period (please see all photos)
