Item - Vintage Faux Tortoiseshell Glove Stretchers, Circa 1930s. Glove Stretchers were used to restore the shape of glove fingers after washing, which made them wrinkled and stiff. The stretchers were made in boxwood, rosewood and ebony, but also ivory, tortoiseshell, bone and brass.
