Vintage Kitchen Utensil Tool Emil Lux Remscheid DRP German Patent Tin Can Opener, Circa 1930s
- Customer Reviews
This is a Vintage Nickel Plated German Patent Tin Opener with wood insert to centre of handle, Circa 1930s; the top of the handle is stamped with the Lux trademark name and the intials D.R.P. for Deutsches Reich Patent (German Patent), the tool is also stamped close to the pivot pin with the makers details - Emil Lux Remscheid, Remscheid is a city in the North Rhine are of Germany (Please see all photos).
The Tin Opener measures 6" in length and is in Very Good Used Condition, though there is some plating wear to the handle (please refer to photos); the tin opener still functions fine, I personally checked it with a tin of soup before writing this description.
