Item - Vintage Boxed Silver Plate on Zinc #2165 Hippopotamus by Gunner Cyren for Dansk Designs Ltd of Japan, Circa 1970/80s.
This particular example is still in it's original box and has even it's protective plastic bag!
The 'Hippo' Paperweight was designed in the late 1970s by Gunner Cyren (an award winning silversmith) for Dansk Designs and is cast to the base with DANSK DESIGNS JAPAN GC and the EPZ mark for Electro plated zinc.

Circa - 1970/80s
