Vintage Corkmaster CO2 Corkscrew BOC Sparklets Products England Boxed with Instructions Circa 1970s

This is a Grey Plastic Handled Corkmaster Corkscrew made by BOC (British Oxygen Company Ltd) of London, England, Circa 1970s, complete in Original Box with Instructions and still retaining its original CORKMASTER gas bulb though now empty. The Sparklets Corkmaster is an efficient device for removing corks simply and easily from bottles of still wine. The principle employed is to inject through the cork a very small quantity of harmless CO2 gas from a Sparklets bulb (same as used in the soda syphons-still available from Good Home Brewing Shops). Follow the instructions (enclosed within box) carefully and your Corkmaster should give you every satisfaction (Please see all Photos). The Corkscrew measures 7.5" in length and is in Excellent Used Conditon, though there is a small crack to the right of the button (please refer to photos). The box measures 8.75" by 2.5", with a depth of 1.375" and is also in Excellent Used Condition though there is some light rubbing to the top edge of the box. There is a charge of £2.50 to all U.K. Residents (1st Class Mail Only, others P.O.A), will also ship Worldwide no problem but please check table below for price on Postage. Sparklets Corkmaster

The Sparklets Corkmaster was manufactured by the British Oxygen Company's Sparklets works from the 1960s until 1981. The Corkmaster uses a CO2 bulb and can be quite dangerous and has been known to explode so always take care when using; though they can be actually deadly as the follwing story tells, the company Leland Industries of Stirling, New Jersey was the U.S. distributor for BOC Sparklets Works. Lealand Stanford the President of the company wrote "Lealand sold about 500,000 of the Corkmasters in the U.S., one of there largest customers for the Corkmaster was the Department of Defence. The Corkmasters in question were used by elite military groups and allowed them to silently kill the enemy by injecting CO2 into theor bloodstream causing an embolism leading to death. The Corkmaster has also featured in the James Bond film "Diamonds are Forever", you will have to wait to the final scene where Bond (Sean Connery) and Tiffany Case (Jill St.John) are presented with a bottle of wine by Mr. Wint (Bruce Glover) who prepares to open the bottle with a Corkmaster or is he?
