Other Interesting Points - Grosvenor Pharmacy still exists in Lytham in the same building but is now known as Smiths Chemist.

Castor Oil, or Wonder Oil as it is sometimes known has curative stories behind it. You may remember your grandmother recommending a Castor oil pack to cure what ails you, such as arthritis, clearing skin disorders, gallbladder inflammation & much more. Castor oil was supplied by your local chemist in glass bottle similar to the one pictured and was commonly used for inducing during child birth. It’s a home remedy with natural healing properties and is still widely used today.
