Item - Vintage Cast Iron Bottle Opener made to advertise H & G Simonds of Reading, Circa 1920/30s; this is an early example of this type of bottle opener as it has neither the registration design or patent number cast to the top (Please See All Pics)..

Maker - Unknown

Marks - The Opener is cast to one side with - H & G SIMONDS LTD, and then to the other READING.

Circa - 1920/30s

Construction - Cast Iron

Country of Origin - England

Length - 3.25" in length

Weight - 21 gram

Condition - Very Good Used Condition (please see all photos) 

Other Interesting Points - There are two versions of the 'Simonds Ltd' Bottle Opener, one version has straight text (as with this one) and the other is slightly curved.
