Item - Antique George Grose 'Iron' Boot Door Stop, Circa 1910-20s; this rather unusual item would have originally been one half of a pair of Iron Boots that would be strapped to the feet to exercise, it has now been re-purposed as a door stop ideal for home, gym, shop, etc...  .

Maker - George Grose Ltd of 8 New Bridge Street, Ludgate Circus, London, England  

Stamps - The Iron Boot is stamped to the top with the GEORGE GROSE IRON BOOT.  

Construction - Cast Iron Boot on Salvaged Wood Base and Hand Made Thick Steel brackets finished with Brass Screws  

Circa - 1910-20s

Dimensions - 12" by 4" (5.5" in height)

Weight - 4459 gram (touch under 4.5 kilogramme)

Condition - The Door Stop is in Excellent Used Condition (please refer to photos)
