Other Interesting Points - This Singer Sewing Machine is a nice early example and was made in 1894 (reference www.singerco.com) and would have come originally in a singer 'domed top' case at time of production, at some point in the 1950s it was decided that the case needed to be changed/spruced up/replaced; the machine also had its original hand crank mechanism replaced and a Hillman Motor fitted and comes complete with foot pedal. The machine features a brass makers plaque and lovely transfered Art Nouveau detail. The pedal and motor have been tested and operate the machine, though please note if you intend to use this machine, please make sure that you have all electric parts tested by a qualified pat tester or electrician.
