Item - Vintage "Rita" Liga Ring Turn Folding Pocket Knife, Circa 1930s; this particular example was produced to advertise The National Guarantee Suretyship Association Limited of Edinburgh, Scotland (Please See All Pics). A Ring Turn knife is opened by turn the ring clockwise and then anti-clockwise to close.

Maker - Rita Liga (No Information Found)

Marks - Stamped to the tang of both blades with RITA Crown Mark to one side and the shield logo to the reverse. The Knife is also stamped to the edge of the body with "RITA" LIGA. The body of the knife is stamped to one side with THE NATIONAL GUARANTEE AND SURETYSHIP ASSOCIATION LIMITED and to the other side THE SURETY COMPANY FOR THE LEGAL PROFESSION. (Please See All Pics).

Country of Origin - Unknown... possibly Portugal?
