This is a lovely Hard-to-Find Vintage boxed set of 14 Miniature Glass Sweet Jars for Toy Sweet Shops complete with their original contents made by Clarke Nickolls & Coombs Ltd. of Waterden Road, London, Circa 1950/60s. The front of the box is printed with the details of the original price '2 Shilling and Six Pence' and the following text details - Fourteen MINIATURE JARS OF CONFECTIONERY FOR TOY SWEET SHOPS, the sides of the box are also printed with the same detail plus the addition of the net weight 3 1/2 ounces; the box opens to reveal as promised 14 glass miniature glass with varying coloured plastic tops and their original brightly coloured sweets within, which were ediable at the time but we would not recomended consumption 50+ years on. The box is printed to the base with the makers name - CLARKE NICKOLLS & COOMBS LTD. WATERDEN ROAD, LONDON, E15 (Please see all Photos) The 14 Jars and their contents are in Excellent Used Condition, the box is in Very Good Condition, a little grubby and original seal tape to the front still present, this does not distract from the fantastic contents. There is a charge for Postage & Packaging of £4.00 to all U.K. Residents (1st Class Signed For Mail Only, others P.O.A), we will also ship Worldwide no problem but please check table below for price on Postage.
