Item - Scarce Antique Dalmatian Insect Powder Tin complete with most of it's original contents (please refer to photos). The Tin was manufactured by G&T Coward Limited, a Tin Box manufacturer specialising in Chromo Lithography based at Fisher Street, Carlisle, England.  

Tin Maker - G & T Coward of Fisher Street, Carlisle, England.

Produced For - Dalmatian? No other producers details. 

Marks - Tin printed with all details, also stamped to the base with G & T COWARD MAKERS CARLISLE (please see photos)

Circa - 1900s

Construction - Litho printed Tin.

Country of Origin - England

Dimensions - 2.25" diameter (3.65" in height)

Weight - 177 gram

Condition - Very Good Used Condition (please see all photos) 

Other Interesting Points -  The first ever tin we have seen made by G & T Coward a less known Tin Manufacturer, most likely over shadowed by the great Hudson Scott of Carlisle who produced tins for Carrs Biscuits.
