Item - Scarce Vintage Art Deco 'Butlins' Smiths SecTric Synchronous Wall Clock with Octagon Bakelite Case, Circa 1930/40s complete with wire and plug as used for testing but should be checked/replaced by a qualified electrician to meet current safety regulations if required for use.

This clock would have been on the wall of a Butlins Hotel or Holiday camp and works perfectly, The Bakelite is Excellent Condition with no chips or cracks.

The clock features the Patent Numbers 366710, 369438 and 374713 with the later being granted in 1932 other patents were pending.

Maker - Smiths Clocks of Cricklewood, London, England

Marks - The rear of the case is moulded with instructions for use, the patent details as above and the manufacturers details. 

Circa - 1930/40s

Construction - Bakelite Case

Country of Origin - England

Dimensions - 8.625" in diameter across the flats.

Weight - 1285 gram (excluding wire & plug)

Condition - Excellent Used Condition and fully working... once again if intended for use the original wire and plug will have to be checked/replaced by a qualified electrician and the clock checked over so that it meets the current safety regulations.
