Rare Vintage English Solid Brass Helix Lock 1936 Prov Patent Locking Dividers, Circa 1930/40s

This is a rare early example solid brass pair of provisional patent lockable dividers made under the Helix name, Circa 1930/40s. The dividers are stamped with the details "HELIX-LOCK" PROV PAT 6537/36, with the last two digits refering to the year 1936 when the provisional patent was granted by the British Patents Office. The dividers open upto 5.5" wide and can be locked at any point to help with accuracy when using (please see all photos).  The Brass Dividers measures 3.875" in length and are in Excellent Used Condition (please refer to photos); there is a charge of £1.00 for POSTING and PACKING to all U.K. Residents (1st Class Mail Only, others P.O.A), will also ship Worldwide, but please check table below for price on Postage.
