Item - Original Antique WW2 (1942) Cavalry (Horseback Troops) Officers Whistle produced by J Hudson & Co of Birmingham, England in Excellent Used condition. The whistle has a large loop or finger ring to the rear, this was so that it could be worn over a gloved hand.

Construction - Nickel Plated Brass

Country of Origin - England

Dimensions - 3.25" in length

Weight - 37 gram

Condition - Excellent Used Condition with the finger ring just being a little misshapen through use (please see all photos) 

Other Interesting Points - The very last horse-mounted cavalry unit (the Queen's Own Yorkshire Dragoons) converted to motorized/mechanized infantry in March 1942, shortly before the final minor horse cavalry charge was led in Burma by British-led forces on March 18, 1942.
