Item - Original Antique 'The Universal Patent City Police' General Service Whistle produced by Richard Arthur Walton of Hunters Road, Hockley, Birmingham, England, Circa 1898-1904; the outside of the whistle is not stamped with the makers mark but on closer inspection the disc is stamped with WALTON PATENT, this patent was granted in 1898.

Maker - R A Walton of Hunters Road, Hockley, Birmingham, England

Construction - Nickel Plated Brass

Country of Origin - England

Dimensions - 3.125" in length

Weight - 33 gram

Condition - Very Good Used Condition and fully working, there is wear to the plating and little dings here and there... one thing is for sure this whistle has been used (please see all photos) 

Other Interesting Points - R A Walton ( Richard Arthur Walton ) was a Whistle Manufacturer located at 14 Hunters Road, Hockley, Birmingham, England whistle maker who made whistles from 1882 to 1904 until the company was bought up by Joseph Hudson.
