Item - Original Antique The City Whistle Patent Model 152 produced by Alfred De Courcy & Co of Birmingham, England in superb condition complete with cord lanyard.

This whistle is not stamped with the makers mark and has a very similar mark to the body that Hudson used, though from further investigation the internal diaphragm when viewed from the mouthpiece can be seen as a folded-down strip which was a patent that was granted to A De Courcy in 1913, also the style of the two-piece top was made to Patent 101303 of 1916 also granted to De Courcy.

Condition - Excellent Used Condition, one of the best we have seen (please see all photos) 

Other Interesting Points - De Courcy produced whistles from 1888 until 1927 when the company was taken over by Hudson & Co.
