Item - Hard to Find Vintage Antique Nickel Silver Plated Solid Brass Pencil Compass, Circa 1930s; the point is reversible so can be turned around to save getting damage, also handy if you put your compass in your pocket.

Marks - Stamped the pencil ring with HELIX REGD MADE IN ENGLAND

Construction -  Solid Brass

Country of Origin - England

Condition - Excellent Used Condition (please see all photos) 

Other Interesting Points - In my opinion this is the best Helix compass ever produced as the point is reversible, superb construction and design...possibly the 'Rolls-Royce' of Pencil Compasses. This is example is finished in Nickel Silver Plate which was actually more expensive that the more standard 'Brass' Finish.
