Item - Vintage Size 5 Flat Iron produced by Salter of England for the British Army, Dated 1951 (please see all photos) The Iron is cast with the broad arrow mark, the date 1951 and KF2896 as well as Salter's knotted rope logo

Condition - Excellent Used Condition though the base could do with a clean (refer to pics)

Other Interesting Points - Never seen another...very hard to find with the military markings...could have been used by conscripts of National Service possibly in Korea, Malaya, Kenya, etc...
