Item - Antique Silver Plate Vesta Box or Match Holder, Dated 1868 and engraved with the original owners name, Wybergh Thompson. The Vesta Box is also stamped with the makers mark which appears to be L J & Co... though the first letter is a little awkward to read...unfortunately we have not been able to identify the maker. The Vesta features a flap-type opening with a beautifully constructed hinge (please see all pics).
