Item - Antique 'Tacklers' Folding Pocket Knife with Ebony Scales made by William Rodgers of Sheffield, England, Circa 1860 (Please See All Pics). A Tackler was a supervisor in a Mill/Textile Factory and would be in charge of a bank of looms and the weavers that operated them.

Maker - William Rodgers of Sheffield, England 

Marks - The Tang is stamped WILLIAM RODGERS SHEFFIELD the main blade is also stamped with TACKLER'S KNIFE.

Circa - 1850/70s

Construction - Steel, Ebony Scales and Steel Pins

Country of Origin - England 

Length - 3.65" in length (closed)
