Antique Walker & Company Homeland Sheffield England Arts & Crafts Pewter Tea Set Patent Teapot Jug

Item - Vintage 3 Piece 'Homeland' Planished Pewter Tea Set by Walker & Company of Sheffield, Circa 1930s and comprises of a Patent Teapot with unusual triangular spout, milk jug and sugar bowl (please see all photos).

Maker - Walker & Company of Sheffield, England 

Stamps - All three pieces are stamped with the W & Co makers mark, ENGLISH PEWTER HAND BEATEN, the number 740 and the Homeland mark; the teapot also features the Patent No. 403798, which was granted by the British Patents Office in 1931

Circa - 1930s

Construction - Pewter with Bakelite fittings 

Country of Origin - England

Dimensions - Teapot (6.25" in diameter at widest point, height 4.875") Sugar Bowl (3.375" dia. , 2.375" in height) Milk Jug 3.375" dia. at base, 2.375" in height)

Weight - Teapot - 497 gram, Sugar Bowl - 172 gram, Milk Jug - 151 gram; Total weight unpacked = 820 gram 

Condition - Excellent Used Condition with a couple of light dings (please refer to pics).

Other Interesting Points - Homeland Pewter was the Trademark of Walker & Company, Sheffield, England. Founded in 1907, they produced pewter wares from 1930 to circa 1940. (please refer to pics).
