Item - Stunning Antique Large Plumb Spirit Level by Edward Preston of Birmingham, Circa 1890s (Please See All Pics). This example is stamped with the Registration number 269393, which was granted in 1896, it is also a early version as the later versions were stamped IMPROVED above the WARRANTED CORRECT stamp.
Maker - Edward Preston of Birmingham, England.
Marks - Stamped with the "EP" (trademark) and E. PRESTON & SONS TRADEMARK to the top of the brass plate and then WARRANTED CORRECT RD No. 269393 (please see pics)
