Item - Antique Snooker Table Iron with advertising for Clare Billiard Tables of Liverpool, Circa 1900s; this type of iron would have been heated on a gas ring or similar until hot and then used to iron the cloth on the table, they were eventually superseded by electric irons.

The Iron weighs an impressive 7 kilogram so would make a lovely door stop and an interesting talking piece.
