Antique Sewing Jahncke's Mitrailleuse Patent A Farr & Sons Redditch Blue Needle Tin Case Holder

Item - Antique Jahncke's Patent Mitrailleuse 'A. Farr & Sons' Needle Tin Case produced by Ernest Jahncke's of Canonbury Works, London, England for A Farr & Sons, Park Road, Redditch, England, Circa 1890-1900.

The metal case is finished in a marbleised blue colour and printed with the following details - A. FARR & SONS REDDITCH ENGLAND BY PARR THE BEST MADE IN ENGLAND, and also Instructions for use and numbers around the turning edge for the size of the needle to come out 4,5,6,7,8. The steel end caps are marked JAHNCKE'S PATENT MITRAILLEUSE (refers to the resemblance to the long barreled military volley guns ) NEEDLE CASE on one end and BEST ENGLISH STEEL NEEDLES EGG EYED 50 SHARPS NEEDLES on the other. The case is complete with it's original contents and in full working order.
