Item - Antique ACME (Hudson & Co Ltd) Thunderer Whistle with J H & Co Crest/Monogram End Caps, Circa 1924-30s; this particular whistle is a early example of it's type as it carries the Provisional Patent Mark for 1924...this was only used until full patent was granted.

Maker - J Hudson & Co. of Birmingham, England

Marks - Stamped to the top with PATENT 214519/24 (this is a provisional patent granted to Hudson's by the British Patent Office in 1924); the underside of the whistle is also stamped with MADE IN ENGLAND. (please see pics)

Circa - 1924-30s

Construction -  Nickel Plated Brass
