Item - Antique Ceramic Orlwite Ice Cream Wafer Maker, Circa 1920s; this device was used by dropping a wafer in the top...ice cream was then added and smoothed with a palette knife then topped with another wafer and then slid out the open end. Unusually this particular example is not marked with the 'Orlwite' tradename, but is marked with the Registration Number 704109 which was first granted in 1924 by the British Patents Office.
