Item - Original Antique Metropolitan Patent Indian Army Issue Whistle produced by J. Hudson & Co of 13 Barr Street, Birmingham, England, Dated 1905.... clearly stamped with the Broad Arrow Mark with an 'I' below this was to signify that the whistle was for Indian Army Use, the Patent refers to the Diaphragm Improvements with the Diaphragm or Disc also stamped. This particular example is also stamped to the cap with stamps which is most likely the owners details (please see all pics).
Maker - J. Hudson & Co. of 13 Barr Street, Birmingham, England
Marks - Stamped to the body - THE METROPOLITAN PATENT J.HUDSON & Co 13 BARR ST BRIMINGHAM, the Indian BROAD ARROW mark and the date 1905 it is also stamped to the diaphragm with J HUDSON & Co PATENT.
Circa - 1905
Construction - Nickel Plate of Brass
