Item - Small Antique 1877 George Havell Patent Folding Bow/Harp Corkscrew, Circa 1880-1900s; this particular example is the smallest version produced and is stamped to the top with Patent detail. This type of corkscrew was used for removing corks from medicinal bottles and perfume bottle of the time due to it's small size (please see all photos)

Maker - It is believed that Williamson's of Newark, New Jersey (also a maker of corkscrews) helped with manufacturing of Havell's Patent Corkscrew (most likely due to demand), so either Havell's or Williamson's both based in Newark, New Jersey. USA

Stamps - To the top with the Patent detail as follows - PAT. OCT 16 77 (for October 16th 1877)

Type - Folding Bow/Harp

Circa - 1880-1900s

Dimensions - 1.875" in length opening to 3.25" (1.375" across handle)
