Item - Vintage Long Handled Garden Lawn/Grass Edging Shears by John W Ward of Sheffield, Circa 1900/10s (please see all photos); a beautiful pair of shears with thick shaped handles to aid grip in a simulated bamboo style.

Maker - John W Ward of Sheffield

Stamps - Stamped with JOHN W WARD SHEFFIELD, then the J.W.W oval mark and what appears to be Galem?, I though it would be Gilbow as John went on to form the Gilbow company in the 1920s (Please Refer to Pics)

Construction - Forged Steel with Wooden Handles.

Condition - Excellent Used Condition with some light staining to the handles.
