Item - Antique English Made 'Storrar of Chester' Twin Blade Steel Folding Pocket Knife with Antler Scales; Circa 1880-1900...not much is known regarding the knife maker Storrar of Chester, though there was a Storrars Successors Ironmonger Manufacturers listed in the 1910 Cheshire Trade Gazette based at 109 & 111 Foregate Street, Chester; so this could be the same company....?

We have seen a few items carrying the Storrar name including Household Items (mainly Brass Candlesticks), Kitchen & Garden Equipment but we have never seen another pocket knife stamped with the Storrar Name... we have been unable to find out when the company started but would say the knife dates to the later part of the 19th Century so would make sense as more than likely to be the same company as Storrar would have started small before becoming the aptly named 'Storrar Successors'!
