Item - Antique 19th Century Brass Anthropomorphic Inkwell in the form of an extremely well detailed mythical creature, most likely a devil imp (please see pics). The inkwell has a hinged lid which opens to reveal a recess for a inkwell (now missing), the ears of the creature are hollow allowing for the standing of dip pens when not in use.
