Item - Antique Cased 'Double D' Folding Railway Spectacles with side lenses, Circa 1850/60s; this particular example have horn frames, white metal folding arms with beaver tail finish, tinted lenses and a Brady & Martin Ltd Case (Please See All Pics).

This type of spectacle was very popular around the time of early railway travel as they helped to protect the eyes from smoke & debris whilst travelling in the open top carriages of the day. .
