Item - Original Antique 19th Century Brass Signal/Warning Horn, Circa 1890-1910; this type of horn was used as a warning or signal to others.
We are not 100% sure of who used this horn originally but similar examples have been used by Coachman (though usually a little longer), Railway Gangs (though they tend to have loops to attach a strap), On a boat (fog horn), but the most likely use for this horn was on the hunt. The Nickel Plated Whistle type mouthpiece is unscrewable to reveal the metal reed within (please see all pics).
