Item -  Antique 1889 Advertising 12" Four Fold Card Rule in Original Slip Case for W A Jones, Mathematical & Scientific Instrument Maker of Foy's Chambers, Bond St., Sydney, Australia. The Card rule is an exact replica (to scale) of a boxwood type folding rule and to the rear features a calendar for 1889. The Slip case is embossed in gold to both sides with the makers information (please see all photos).

Condition - The Rule is in Very Good Used Condition with some light marks, the case is also in Very Good Used Condition with some rubbing to one side (please see all pics)

Other Interesting Points -  A True Survivor as it would have only intended to last a year and then be discarded... some 135 years ago!
