Item - Vintage White Enamel Sweet Shop Weighing Scales made by Avery of England complete with a full set of 7 Brass Bell Weights, Circa 1950/60s. The scales are inset with a Weights & Measures verification mark, this inturn is stamped with the Crown mark of Elizabeth II,  the county mark for West Riding of Yorkshire and the date code for Feb 1958 

Maker - Avery of England

Marks - The scales are marked with the makers name AVERY - MADE IN ENGLAND and also the detail - TO WEIGH 2LBS.

Circa - 1950/60s

Construction -  Enamelled Cast Iron Body/Nickel Plated Pan/Weight Holder and Brass Weights

Country of Origin - England

Dimensions - 15.5" by 8.75" (height 7.75") 

Weight - Heavy 4.25 Kilogram (Scales & Weights Unpackaged)

Condition - Scales & Weights in Excellent Used Condition and fully working order (please see all photos)

 

Other Interesting Points - A very nice set of genuine sweet shop scales that include a full set of brass bell weights as follows - 1lb, 8oz, 4oz, 2oz, 1oz, 1/2oz and 1/4oz.
