Vintage Traditional Folding Painted White Hard Wood Vinyl Beach Deck Chair Deckchair, 1950s VW Surf

This is a lovely vintage white painted hard wood framed traditonal folding deck chair complete with original vinyl deck chair stripe material, Circa 1950s; the wooden framework of the chair has been painted white (extremly well though!); most probably sometime in the 1970s when it was common place and fashionable to paint all wood white including most furniture (Please see all photos). The Chair measures 38" in height (this is adustable as there is 3 settings for the rear stay to sit into), 21" in width, 41" in length (front to rear) and folds to 48.75" by 21" by 1.25" so will fit easily into most cars and especially those cool VW Campers that the surfers use, ideal to relax in whilst waiting for the next set of waves maybe. The Chair is in Excellent Used Condition, though the original vinyl material is a little sun light faded, this to be expected on a chair that is approximately 50 years old; the material could be easily replaced to suit taste but it already looks great if you like the retro style and has no rips or tears (please refer to photos).
