Vintage Sweet Shop 7lb Storage Jar Display Tin Huttons Bowness Windermere Blackpool, Circa 1970s

This is a empty vintage sweet shop tin/storage jar that originally contained Chocolates made by Huttons of Bowness of Windermere, England, Circa 1970s; the tin is the type that would have been on the shelves of sweet shops, newsagents, etc..., with the sweets being sold in quarters in paper bag. The tin contained 7lb net when full and is printed to the front and rear with the image of a typical lake district scene and the details - MANUFACTURED BY L. HUTTON & CO (WINDERMERE) LTD., CRAG BROW, BOWNESS-ON-WINDERMERE (Please see all Photos). The Tin measures 5.75" square, with a height of 11.625" and is in Very Good Used Conditon, though there is signs of age including light corrosion to the exposed edges and the base, there is also two light dings to one side (please refer to photos) .
