Vintage Smoking Shop Display Tin Permanol Lighter Fuel Permalon Ltd London, Circa 1950s

This is a interesting vintage tin, that original contained Permanol Lighter Fuel made in England by Permalon Limited of London, Circa 1950s; who boasted at the time to be the World's Largest Manufacurers of Lighter Fuel and Accessories. This tin appears to be a shop display tin as there is no printing to the top of the lid and advertisment within the lid therefore suggesting that the tin was intended to be open most of its life (please see all photos). The Tin measures 5.75" by 4.5" (height of 2.625") and is in Very Good Used Conditon though as the top was untreated and left bare it has become quite corroded through time and there is also some scratches to the sides (please refer to photos).
