This is a Myatt Ladies Boudoir Safety Razor in original metal case made by W. J. Myatt & Co. Limited of Birmingham, England, Circa 1930/40s. The razor comes in 4 parts, with the head being made up of two nickel plated pieces, with the back of the head stamped with the details - W. J. MYATT & Co. LTD MADE IN ENGLAND. The handle of the razor is made from knurled steel and comes in two parts, with the front part coming from within the handle, the back part then turns around and the two pieces screw together to form the handle. This type of razor used a blade which unfortunately is unavailable anymore. The razor comes complete with its original metal case, which has a intergrated blade holder in the form of a 'M' to the inside of the hinged top. The outside of the top is stamped with the details - Myatt Ladies Razor, the base of the tin is also stamped with the details - MADE BY THE MAKERS OF THE DAYMARK BLADE - W. J. The Razor measures 1.25" in length, the case measures 1" square, with a height of 0.375", with all items of the kit in Excellent used Conditon.
